Thanks, as with many apps, if someone is willing to continue to update and speak to the people that use it. There is nothing wrong with having a free app and people pay to have individual add ons as I would, and I can imagine so would many. Thanks again

Thanks for the reply, there is another app I currently use. Similar to what your saying, although they can find a cocktail they like, click share and it sends the link to my phone which I open them automatically opens the app to that cocktail. It's not an option a lot of people use, but when I've making cocktails for say 20 it's just a lot easier to keep my phone, then receive a link to make a cocktail, it's great as I just shout who's ordered a ???. The tablet can be just passed around.

ant jones I can definitely work on adding that bit that you just described - where if someone sends you a link and you try to open it from your phone, it opens the app directly. I'll look into it!
I have a lot of work already done for the cloud sync, but I'm still figuring out the details for it and how it's gonna work when there's a lot of people using it (as in, I'm gonna get a higher server cost / fees because of it xD, and this is already a free app and I refuse to put ads on it). So yeah, there's a bit of non-coding work here that I need to figure out in the meantime.

I'm not using the app purely for this reason. The main reason for me wanting this above anything else is. I've got a cocktail party, I hand someone a tablet with the app on, the person likes the look of that cocktail and presses share which send that Cocktail to my 2nd device for me them to make a drink.

Hey ant jones!
Trying to think as how the cloud sync would solve your problem in this scenario... I guess you're saying that they'd save it to a collection and then you'd see the update on said collection? I guess that would work.
In the meantime, have you tried handing the tablet to someone and hit the "share" button so that they send you a text with the cocktail name?
So it'd be:
- You give them the tablet. They like a cocktail and tap on the "share" button.
- That opens the share UI, which lets them send the link for the cocktail in say, regular text, Whatsapp, Signal, or whatever you use to your 2nd device and then you'd make them a drink.
It wouldn't necessarily be any additional steps than what you describe. Hope that works in the meantime :)
