An option to use exact measurements as entered into a recipe instead of it covering it to scant/fat estimates.

Hey there- do you usually use oz? I don't think that "scant/fat" takes effect if you use mls.
That being said, I could always add it as an option, I don't think it'd be particularly hard, although you would be left with pretty weird decimals / fractions for ounces, I would assume. Weird enough that it might not really be useable

Cocktailarium yes using ounces and that's probably why. Perhaps it could round to the nearest .25oz.

naveeng@gmail.com Hm... It already rounds to the nearest easiest fraction (can't recall off the top of my head if it's .25oz, but it might be).
That being said, I added the scant/fat so you wouldn't miss the fact that it is meant to be slightly less than, say, a full ounce, but not give you a really odd fraction or decimal. So you get the rounding but with a nudge to put a little more / a little less depending on if the decimals are slightly over / under the .25oz mark.

Cocktailarium I've attached an example here of how it makes odd adjustments to a custom recipe, while I feel like it should just give me back what I entered.
naveeng@gmail.com Can you add the image as an attachment? Can't seem to open that link.

naveeng@gmail.com Thank you! Yeah, it seems like the app is doing some incorrect math here that is causing those scant/fat labels being added unnecessarily.
Let me look into it. Thanks for sharing :)

Cocktailarium yeah I wasn't sure if it is trying to limit the total cocktail volume to a certain threshold?

naveeng@gmail.com Ah, I see what's going on- You have set the app to using a 45ml base pour, correct? So it's taking your recipes and converting them to a 45ml base pour for you.
I hadn't considered this scenario.
While I see some value in letting the app continue to do this (maybe you are copying a recipe that is using a 60ml base pour and want to see the 45ml base pour adjustment), I think this is clearly not intuitive.
I'm adding a change so that custom recipes do not get the automatic base pour transformation. If you add a recipe to the app, I think the app should assume you want to keep the volumes as-is.

Newest app version has the fix :) Your custom recipe shouldn't get their volumes converted based on the base pour setting of the app now.
